Aesia Toliver


Aesia Toliver graduated from Ohio University, E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in May 2016.  During her time at OU she was a collegiate track athlete running short sprints. When Aesia wasn’t on the track she was working at WOUB Public media, the university’s news station.  At WOUB she was a breaking news writer, anchor, and sports reporter.

Aesia’s broadcast career started in the summer of 2015 when she was an East Coast NBCUniversal Fellow in Manhattan, NY.  She was also a Digital Editorial Intern for NBCSports that summer where she wrote articles for and helped the news desk monitor news, and update content on,, and

After graduation Aesia was a Production Assistant for the 2016 Rio Olympics where she helped produce and research boxing. After the Olympics, Aesia got her start in television news at WFIE in Evansville, IN.

In her spare time Aesia loves working out, eating Chinese food, and playing with her dog Tiny.
