Amber is a Nashville-native and graduated from the University of Tennessee: Knoxville in 2013.
Amber played just about every sport you could imagine and grew up in a sports-minded family.  She even begged her mother to play little league football at the age of six, but instead her mom signed her up for cheerleading.
Amber worked with ESPN radio in college as an intern and did freelance production work with the College Game Day crew. She wanted to be around every aspect of sports. Amber interned with D1 Sports Training in Knoxville, Tenn. and even was able to train high school cheerleaders during her time there. She took part in the University’s television program as a co-host and covered sports for the journalism publication, as well.
Out of college, Amber was a sports editor and reporter for an online publication in Nashville covering high school sports in Middle Tennessee. She also co-hosted and co-produced a live sports talk show in Nashville, has made various guest appearances on radio spots and podcasts throughout the southeast and worked as a sideline reporter for Scout.com.
After working with Scout.com, Amber worked as a Sports Anchor/ Reporter for WACH Fox 57 in Columbia, SC. Amber was able to cover the Steve Spurrier era with the Gamecocks, a Clemson team that was runner-up in a national championship, a Super Bowl-bound Carolina Panthers team and stood as the sideline reporter for televised high school football games. The station is where Amber found her passion for local story-telling and high school sports. One of her favorite features was presented an award by the RTDN and AP. 
From there, Amber decided to take her talents to freelance sports journalism to pursue her dreams even further. She has been involved in several different projects and has a high social media presence.
