Chris Barriere graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011 from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, with a Sport Media major and a minor in Journalism. He was born in Westerly, Rhode Island and raised in Bennington, Vermont.

As a die-hard hockey fan, Chris loves working for KTTC in the ‚ÄúState of Hockey.” Chris began his career doing a lot of work in hockey.

Before arriving at KTTC, Chris had been working for the NBC Sports Group in Stamford, Connecticut as a Production Associate primarily working on NHL features. Prior to that, Chris was the In-Game Host and Lead Video Editor for the New Jersey Devils during their run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2012. Chris also worked for the Boston Red Sox in 2010 and 2011 first as a PA, then promoted to a role as an Editor and Videographer. In 2010, at the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Chris worked on the NBC team that produced the Opening Ceremony and then helped produce coverage of the men’s gold medal hockey game.
