Harrison Sanford is a Video Journalist/Associate Producer for Spectrum Sports Ohio.
Harrison’s job often takes him on the road, on the sidelines and onto the field with teams around the state, in particular the Cincinnati/Dayton region. You can find him reporting in the field, working the sidelines during a live broadcasted game or anchoring in our Columbus-area studio. Since his time, he has covered several major events including the Cleveland Cavaliers Championship parade, NFL Playoff Games, NCAA Tournament competition, the College Football National Championship and MLB/NHL All-Star festivities.
Harrison joined Spectrum Sports in 2014. Prior to that, he was a Sports Anchor/Reporter for WALB in Albany, Georgia. While at WALB, he also served as a news reporter. While in Southwest Georgia, he covered everything from High School Championship games to armed bank robberies. Before his time at WALB, Sanford was a production assistant for Comcast SportsNet Houston.
A native of New York, Harrison graduated from Cornell University in 2010. At Cornell, he served as a Senior Editor and as an Assistant Sports Editor for the Cornell Daily Sun, the nation’s longest running independently run student newspaper.
Harrison is a member of the Nationals Association of Black Journalists. He also works with several AAU basketball programs around the country to mentor youth.
